What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Two phone interviews and one on-site. First phone interview was with HR, asked me very basic questions about finance background and technical skills. Second phone interview was with portfolio manager who asked some more technical questions about Fama-French model and how I would respond to a client who wanted to invest in fund X for reason Y. Final interview was on-site with three portfolio managers and one associate. They asked some technical questions but it was mostly about assessing fit and making sure I would be happy at DFA.
