Interview
I just applied on their website after being prompted by a recruiter. The interview asked extremely simple corporate finance related case-study questions. I.e Acme Bank wants to open up a new division that offers student loans: What are the pros and cons. Then a brief bit with some basic math like "How many accounts will we have if we start with 30,000 and have 5% growth for 3 years. Overall it was very simple and straightforward.
Interview Questions
Keeping track of the numbers. You are not allowed to view the case study document yourself, only have it read aloud to you. Very Strange.

The process was pretty straight forward. I was contacted by HR for a screening call and then moved onto multiple interviews with people throughout the bank. Everyone was extremely nice and personable.
Interview Questions
The first round consisted of basic behavioral questions followed by some technical questions. The technical questions were regarding excel as one of the roles I was interviewing for was model risk. The second round consisted of talking with the hiring manager and similar questions. The overall interview was not that difficult but had a few curveballs.
Can you give an example of juggling multiple projects? Can you walk us through your resume? How would you rank your knowledge regarding excel and why? Can you give an example of juggling multiple projects? Can you walk us through your resume? How would you rank your knowledge regarding excel?

Interview
The initial contact was via a recruiter (headhunter) on LinkedIn who is not affiliated with Discover. After initial phone screening, an on-site interview was scheduled. The on-site interview lasted 4 hours consisting of three 1 on 1 interviews and a case study.
Interview Questions
The interviewer asked specific questions regarding my experience with Tableau and Excel. These were listed as skills on my resume and the interviewer seemed to be on a fact- checking mission. Other than that, most of the questions were behavioral in nature.
“Describe a time when you had a conflict with a coworker and how did you resolve the conflict”?
“What are your two greatest strengths and weaknesses?”
“Describe for me a time when you were faced with a deadline on a project that you didn’t know if you would be able to meet”
