The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Tell me about yourself. Why investment banking? How are the free cash flows of the company calculated? How would it be calculated if you wanted to find cash flow only attributable to equity holders? (follow up after I answered the first question) If a private equity firm does a leveraged buyout of a company with positive cash flows and the company's performance remains constant and it is sold at the same multiple it was bought at, will IRR be positive, negative, or 0? (I wrote I had LBO modeling experience from my previous internship)

Interview
The process was relatively informal. I was told to come to the office on a particular day, where I got the chance to meet many of the staff members, all 1 on 1. I believe they usually set aside days to interview candidates, and this was not one of those days. I met with who I could when I could. I met with analysts, managing directors, and VP's. The employees came in when they had the chance, and some were limited as they were in the middle of something. I came in the next day to meet with three additional members of the staff. Overall, I spent less than four hours at the office. Since my experience is limited, most of the questions were about personality, fit, and the workload. While I did get technical questions, I got very few that really required me to demonstrate any technical proficiency.
Interview Questions
I noticed you got an "X" score on your SAT, and then a "Y" score on your GMAT. The SAT score is not bad, but the GMAT score is impressive. What changed between those two tests?

I thought this was a little unusual - they repeated asked about SAT or ACT scores, which surprised me.
Why investment banking?

I'm sure everyone gets a version of this question, especially closer to the entry level, but it's really important to have a compelling answer/story ready to go. This is where I faltered, and I'm pretty sure it was the difference between receiving an offer and not.
