Interview
Initially started out with HR and speaking with them about my areas of interest/study. From there I was asked which team at Eastspring I would like to join for the summer. I gave them my preferences. This process took 1-2 weeks.

Moved on to interviewing with the PM who would ran the group I would intern with over the summer. Talked about my previous work experiences, my skills (modeling, Excel, VBA, etc.), and what I wanted to get out of an internship. Had a few competency based questions about long-only investing, the specific geographic region I was looking at, basic financial ratios and the like. Total interview time was ~45 min.

After about 1-2 weeks I had heard back that I was selected to join the team. HR was very helpful and I really enjoyed my summer with Eastspring out there.

Office has a social on the last Friday of each month at 5pm where they provide beer/wine and food. It's a good way to meet people within the office. There's also an office pantry which is well-stocked with snacks and drinks. I also saw a Nintendo Wii connected to the TV in the pantry but nobody ever used it.

Overall good experience.
