Analyst Intern

First submitted my resume on OCR around February 2009, but didn't receive any correspondence until early late March/early April. They sent a form to fill out that had a few questions such as: "Explain what happened during the financial crisis of 2007/08," as well as "Name the top 10 wealth management firms (the industry that they mainly cover) in Southern California". After submitting that they contacted me around the end of April to come into their office for an interview. The format was back-to-back 1 on 1 interviews with an analyst and a VP. Took about 30 minutes each asking basic resume questions, a few behavioral questions about working in teams, and then the typical technical (how do you do a DCF) questions. Overall the interviews were pretty standard, but your answers for behavioral questions will really set you apart. Ultimately, I think I did not receive an offer because I lacked the technical knowledge at the time, which was more than obvious when I spoke with the VP. Additionally I showed up a bit late due to traffic, so I would imagine that didn't really help.
