Junior Trader

I applied online by submitting a resume and cover letter. Three months later, I got a response to come into the office for an interview. The timing is based on their recruiting cycle. It varies, but typically Eldo will recruit 1-2 junior trader classes in a year.

There are 2-3 rounds of interviews. I got three rounds. The interviews themselves were more like an oral exam than anything else. There are four major components that they were testing for. 1) Mental math, 2) Problem solving (brain teasers), 3) Poise under pressure, and 4) Motivation. Each round consisted of some varying mix of the four components mentioned above.
