Founded in 2010, Elevate Ventures is a non-profit organization that primarily invests in seed and early stage, Indiana-based ventures. These companies grow local economies and employment throughout Indiana, in addition to attracting and retaining top-level talent for the Hoosier state. The firm focuses its investment in the life sciences, information technology and advanced manufacturing industries.

Notable investments include: BabyPlus Company LLC, BidPal, Bookacoach, CloudOne, Courseload, Curvo, Emerging Threats, FAST Biomedical, InfraWare Medical Technologies, MaxTradeIn.com, Marcadia Biotech (acquired by Roche), M4 Sciences, Solstice Medical Symbios LLC, Vitacyte and Wolfpack Chassis.

Besides funding ventures, Elevate Ventures provides advisory services via its Entrepreneurs-In-Residence (EIRs) Assistance Program. The firm also has an Economic Gardening program that provides technical assistance to second-stage Indiana companies at no charge. These selected businesses will interact with an experienced national economic gardening team at the Lowe Foundation who will deliver economic gardening services tailored to each business' particular situation.

Elevate Ventures also has a Business Ignition System—a set of flexible and validated business tools—developed by investors to help their portfolio companies think through building a business and avoid typical pitfalls.
