Interview
Applied online and was sent a link to an assessment. The assessment was multiple choice, mostly interpreting data visualizations. Next step was an interview with a recruiter. Basic questions such as, "why Factset", "why this role", etc. A few days later I was invited to a final round interview. It started with a product demo with a Factset consultant, then two back-to-back interviews with Factset Associates. The first interview was mostly about my background and experience, the second interview had more quantitative questions, but nothing too intense.

Interview
Started with a HR interview asking basic behavioral questions. Final round was a walkthrough of the Factset product followed by 2 separate interviews. Mostly behavioral with a 10 minute excel test. Second part included teaching the interviewer something you are passionate about.
Interview Questions
The excel test was not mentioned by the company, so was a little bit of a surprise. It was simple functions such as average, max, min but a v lookup would've been nice to review before interviewing.

Interview
The process began with a behavioral/fit interview after applying through my college career portal. The interviewer wanted to make you feel uncomfortable but I was invited for a second round at the office in New York. This consisted of 4 basic 1 on 1 interviews gauging you interest, knowledge, and fit with the company.
Interview Questions
What do you understand about how our company's software functions in each of our core functions... i.e. pension services, investment services, and insurance services. Their was very little information provided in previous interviews and information sessions about how the software actually functions in each of these areas for their clients. the most unexpected question was the interviewer asking how can you cut a cake three time to generate 8 slices. This was an unexpected brainteaser, and the interview was really just looking to see that you took your time to analyze the problem and understand how you used problem solving skills.

Interview
On campus interview lasted about 25 minutes. Asked about resume experience. Wanted to see if you knew how to use excel (VLOOKUP), and if you followed the markets.
Interview Questions
She asked my how comfortable I was with excel and after my answer immediately asked me to describe VLOOKUP. Some other ones that weren't behavioral were, tell me how you follow the markets, would you rather be liked or feared.
Mostly behavioral questions that weren't difficult if you know your resume and understand your experience. Other questions consisted of, walk me through your resume, and the generic why fastset. Behavioral ones about my resume were, what was your weakness at your last job, what would your manager say about you, etc.

Interview
Simple background and fit questions. They asked me to describe how you'd use excel and data to express an idea.
Interview Questions
They asked me to describe how you'd use excel express or what the general purpose of the program was. I described it as a way of sorting and organizing data. They said describe it as thought you were talking to an elderly person. I said it would be a way to organize grandmother's jewelry so that she can keep track of it or manipulate the data to see trends. They seemed pleased with the answer. they also asked about a recent financial topic I was interested in. At the time, there were negative rates in Europe so I talked about that.
