Internship in Consulting
General Interview Information
Interview Details
- Background Check in which they narrowed to 2000 applicants
- Online tests of English/Spanish and Math/Quants
- Group interview consisted of 3 parts:
->Presentation in English/Spanish
->Solving a case in group
For those who passed there was an extra activity:
->Essay of 30 lines in under 30 minutes
(at this point there were about 20 applicants left for each office, probably 50 total)
- 1 on 1 Interview, actually 3 on 1. I was interviewed by 1 analyst, 1 person from human resources and 1 from the outsourced Staffing Agency at the same time and the track of the interview was basically:
->Background in personal/academic/professional life
->Knowledge about quality, management, economics, accounting and current news
->Background challenges in which I was able to use some of my knowledge
->Knowledge about the company
->Personal goals
->Questions I would like to make
- Phone Interview in English which lasted about 15 minutes.
Considering it was only for an intern position it was definitely a pretty hard process but the company handled it in a very positive way and managed to leave a pretty good impression for almost every applicant.
It became clear to me that Falconi is very focused on results and improvement(their logo even reminds the PDCA cycle). I would even say that their main belief is that that even if you are great you can always get better and a good example of that is that for every position you take place you will have to be interviewed and they will try to push you to the point they crush you, just to remind you that there is always room for improvement.
