I networked with a senior analyst in the firm, asking for informations. Then, he initiated a phone interview.
Interview Questions
No unexpected question, most questions are average and typical questions to be asked during an equity research interview. The most technical one is to estimate the market size for a technique that seems most interesting to me in the current biotech industry, which is gene therapy in this case. Following, he asked me to give a rough number for the market size for CAR-T treatment, by setting up several assumptions using common sense and understanding into the industry. Based on my answer, he then talked about his opinions on the industry and market trend, and outlook.
