Summer Quantitative Equity Research Associate

I got the interview through on-campus recruiting resume drop. The first-round interview consisted of a 30-minute 1-on-1 interview, with mostly fit, behavioral, and background questions.

Next I came into the office for a super day. I had 8 consecutive 30-minute interviews that morning where I met with most of the team I was interviewing with. Most of the questions were, once again, fit, behavioral, and background oriented. I also received some brain teasers and generic investing-related questions, but nothing especially challenging.

About a week after the super day I had two supplemental phone interviews with some team members I didn't get to meet on the super day. I got the impression that they were more concerned about fit and interest than skill-set, especially for an undergrad intern on the buy-side.

I got the offer over the phone about a week after those phone interviews and accepted shortly thereafter.
