Interview
I had a 1st round interview over the phone. They asked me about my background (walk me through your resume) and why I was interested in finance/investing. Then the interviewer (analyst) gave me a run down of Fiduciary Trust and I asked questions about their company at the end. I was invited for a 2nd round interview in person, but the position ended up getting cancelled due the COVID-19.
Interview Questions
None of the questions I faced in my 1st round was necessarily unexpected, as it was all about my background. But I was prepared to answer markets questions as this was an interview with the Investments group. I would have met with the CIO, a senior member, an associate and the analyst with whom I did my phone interview. A question that I was prepping for the time was: What is your opinion on the markets? Where will the markets be in the next few months? (This was when the market rout started happening -- interview was late Feb and 2nd round expected for early/mid March.)
