The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
For Fiera Comox. A lot of scenario-type questions. The first round interview was on Zoom with one analyst and one associate. Questions consisted of behavioral questions but shifted to scenario-type to see how you evaluate an investment, what you think of. The second round was in-person and consisted of three interviews with 2 senior members of the team at a time. Two of the interviews were scenario/case-type as well. One of these scenario was focused on agriculture. Then, not long after, I received confirmation to go to the 3rd round where I had a one-on-one informal conversation with a Partner to be validated. Then accepted.
Interview Questions
Technicals were not exactly what is in the guides. There was the classic 3 statements questions with an expense. Then, you had to calculate the leverage ratio using info (EBITDA, cash, debt, capital lease).

On other technical was: You have two exact same gold mining companies (size, etc.), but one is a low-cost producer, the other is a high cost producer. Price of gold doubles in a week, and you are aware. Which company are you buying.

Phone Interview

Interview
It started off with a phone call from HR. The phone call was essentially do get a general understanding of my background and to see if I would be the right fit for the job. Questions had more to do with my personal goals. Afterwards, I had a meeting set up with the hiring manager for the following week. The interview with the HM was straightforward as well. Asked me basic industry questions, described the role to me, and spoke about a lot of football. I think more than anything the reason I got hired was that I was a good fit, I was not the most qualified but the HM and I hit it off right away.
Interview Questions
I was asked to explain the life cycle of a trade, which was not uncommon but difficult.

Applied online and then immediately emailed an analyst on the team to show my interest and inquire further. This led to a phone call and eventual on-site interview.
Interview Questions
Basic behaviorals (tell me about a time when... | tell me about yourself | strengths, weaknesses, etc.)
making sure that you wanted to actually be part of the team
it was more of the team drilling down into what they do and the team culture, and ensuring that your goals at least somewhat aligned with the team
As long as your answers aren't completely out of left field, you will be fine. They ask about long term goals, how your best friend would describe you, and what strengths/weaknesses your best friend would say you have
