Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I networked pretty heavily within a certain office and thought things were going well for a while. Was first told that offers would be extended in early September, but did not even have a second-round until mid-September. Both interviews were on Webex, video or phone was dependent on who interviewed you, but I would recommend always having your video on. Typical behaviorals along with some "Tell me about a time when" type questions. Technicals were mostly basic with a few valuation method-specific questions (i.e what method would you use in a certain situation). After the second round, we were told that we should expect to hear back by the end of the week but got an email that Friday explaining that we would hear back sometime within the next 2.5 weeks. I'm not sure if the HR just sucks, or they are just waiting to see if one of their offers doesn't convert and I'm second choice. Overall, great experience with the actual bankers, HORRIBLE experience with how unorganized HR has been. Keep in mind that this is during corona, so that could be the cause.
