Interview
Very long process. Began with 3 coffee chats with analysts. Then sent over CCAT intelligence assessment online. Then an extended 1-way interview (extended version of hirevue essentially) Behavioral screener, 2nd round technical, and superday with Analyst, VP, MD.
Interview Questions
Nothing insane, simply tends to go deeper into typical questions. Asks for 6 valuation methods and asks for multiple, unique benefits and drawbacks of each one. Then asks follow ups. Ties many questions back into state of FinTech market rn. Standard software deferred revenue accounting. Asks relatively deep into LBOs (no paper LBO). Why is comparing 2 comps with EBITDA better than with cash flow from operations.

Interview
I applied online with no networking. A few days later, they sent me a cognitive test as well as a personality test. Around a week after, got a 1 way interview - was like a hirevue but had unlimited tries for each question to record. After had a brief interview with recruiter (mostly behavioral, 1 or 2 easy technicals). After another week or two, had a 1 on one with an analyst with slightly harder technicals and behaviorals. After another week or two, had a superday with 2 analysts/associates and MD, with hard technicals.
Interview Questions
1. They asked a relatively difficult accounting question (changes in accounts receivable/payable and some other quantity) and followed up on it to see my thinking and thought process.

2. They asked about a company in the FinTech space I had been following. Interviewer had worked with company so lots of follow ups.

3. They asked how I would deal with stress on the job and pushed back a lot on my answer.

4. They asked me why banking and once more pushed back A LOT on my answer.

5. Can't remember exactly what the question was but it was a situation where revenue was stagnant but the company had a positive ending cash flow balance. Interviewer asked where the cash is going.

Interview
First round was with HR, 4 questions, 1 technical "walk me through the three ways you value a company" second round, technical only, lots of how would you value a company, super day was a mix of behavioral and technical, honestly nothing harder than applying DCF concepts to FinTech companies
Interview Questions
Nothing was too hard, maybe something about a revenue build considering churn rate and revenue per customer
