Resume was passed along by a sell side contact that trades with First Eagle. Reached out to head trader that was doing the hiring once I was told there was an interest. Met with him once for a basic interview/fit and then came back a few weeks later to meet with the other 2 traders. Once I met with them, I came back a 3rd time to meet the portfolio managers and senior managers. Everyone was very nice, no difficult questions. It was all about my past experience and examples of different trades I did. Great company and place to work if a mutual fund is what you are after.
Interview Questions
How would you hedge a bond in a litigation play?

Generally speaking there is no natural hedge.
Why did you leave old job?

PM retired and shut down the fund, so didn't have a choice.
How do you feel about working the first session of the Asia equity market 1 week a month? (from home).

Don't mind - it would give me exposure to a market I otherwise would never be exposed to.
