The first interview I had was on the phone. It consisted of the interviewer giving C code tidbits and asking what the output would be. It was a bit difficult at times because reading syntax over the phone can be hard to understand. The interviewer was patient, however, and did not seem to mind when I asked her to repeat various lines that I did not get the first time she said them. She also waited while I talked my way through some of the longer questions. Overall, I thought I did poorly, but still managed to receive an invitation for another phone interview.
