Please describe the interview / hiring process.
There are in total 5 rounds. first is numerical test, with 75 question in 10 mins. i would say difficulty level is 70/100. need to score 60% to pass. i think top 10% in any top school students could pass, with practice, but no guarantee, also heard ppl from math to fail. the lowest score is negative, i asked the HR. second round is IQ/personality tests. the HR is very helpful and they responded really fast after your test. my suggestion is to take the personality tests honestly, since if you arent that type of person, you might not survive as a trader later. third round is resume and personality tests with a face to face interview. just be confident and be honest. and she will ask you questions that make common sense. such as " is japan earthquake going to affect our business" "what if there is war now, how would it affect our business" and the answers are definitely no for these two, they are non-directional. last round is a trading case. most ppl will not pass. there is one hour preparing after they have given you the case, and later a trader comes in with questions and change in factors. the key is to respond fast and accurate. and speed is really really important.
