Interview Questions
The most difficult interview questions asked dealt with situational issues. To answer these questions, it is important to be familiar with the stars format for answering behavioral interview questions. It was unexpected to receive a logic test consisting of one math section and one reading section as an initial screening. However, they were both relatively easy, and I would not suggest much preparation unless you are very weak in either area. They are like an easier version of the act tests for each subject.

Interview
I met Ford recruiters on campus and talked to them for a little bit and just handed them my resume. They emailed me back about a week later saying they liked my resume and wanted to interview me on campus. I interviewed with two recruiters at the same time. They asked me to go through my resume and explain why I wanted to work at Ford. They also asked me about a computer science project I have done in the past but they were not too focused on it as they were not computer scientists. Then I took an easy 15-minute computer science exam. They contacted me again about 3 weeks later for another on-campus interview. The interview was with two different recruiters and I was asked the exact same questions so it was fairly easy. They offered me the internship about 2 weeks after the final interview.
Interview Questions
What was the most difficult situation you have been put into in a professional environment and how did you handle it? The interviewers tried to push me so that my answer was unrelated to school as they pointed out that many of the answers that they previously received connected to a time that a student had a lot of finals in a short period of time or had many projects due in a similar time frame. The interviewers also pointed out that they wanted me to connect how I dealt with the situation to my character and the type of person I am and attributes that describe me., How would you approach the situation where a person you were working with on a project, whether in school or at work, was not putting in their fair share of work and effort and this person continued to rely on the other group members to do all the work? The interviewers pointed out that this person could not be doing their share of the work for many different reasons and they wanted me to identify possible reasons that a person may not be contributing. They also wanted me to give substantial reasoning for how I would approach the problem and to give several responses depending on the reason this colleague may not be doing his or her work.

Interview
The interview process involved initial psychometric tests, phone interview, and then an one on one interview. As I was away in Canada, they did a skype interview instead of an one on one interview, with one HR and one technical person interviewing me for the position. The response from the company in general was quick and responsive, and they were understanding in that I physically could not be at the internship due to unforeseeable events.
Interview Questions
Tell me about yourself.

I basically did the 5 minute pitch about myself. He followed up with questions concerning some detailed items on my resume, and was interested in the finance officer positions that I did at University.
Describe a time where you actively challenged someone more senior to you.

I was prepared for this, but he followed up with hypothetical scenarios concerning my case and asked for my response. It is hard to prepare, and you just have to think at the spot.
What do you think is your greatest weakness?

One of the hardest questions of all interviews, I answered that my greatest weakness is not being aware of the resources offered to me in the surroundings, which was a genuine weakness but not a dealbreaker.
