Summer Intern

Due to my family's relationship to a key employee of the fund, I was granted a phone interview for a summer internship position. Phone interview went well, was very casual and mainly focused with what I was interested in and was I was currently doing in school. Shortly thereafter I received an email inviting me to interview in person at the fund. Met with a rep from HR and had some behavioral questions and some very light technical questions (Valuation). Compensation was brought up, HR rep said the internship might be unpaid, I said no problem. Received the offer via email a week later, unpaid internship for the summer of 2009.
