Interviewer was on his phone the whole time
Then, stock pitch, with a ton of quiz like questions: who is the chief executive officer, who is the chief financial officer, what's the revenue, what's the market cap, what's the EBITDA margin, what's the net income; what's the ratio of debt to equity; what's their cash conversion ratio. The entire time he checked the answers on his phone on something that must have been yahoo finance.

There were questions like, "how many water bottles are sold in the US each year" and you had to walk through your assumptions reasonings but they did not care about answers so it was more to see how you were thinking to solve them

2) Pitch a stock (asked multiple times), asked about drivers of investment thesis and valuation. Was asked to pitch 2 longs and a short in total.
3) Some brainteaser type questions - market sizing, etc.
4) Behavioral questions, but none that were particularly difficult.
Intent is to triangulate whether you're a) an amicable coworker with the disposition to succeed at the firm b) an investor who thinks critically and is curious.
Intern Interview - Equity Research
(Had a tough time doing this as I'd only prepped a limited number of pitches, so was grasping at straws towards the end)
- Market sizing question.
(Straightforward case style, free-flowing questions with the interviewer. Messed up on maths somewhere but went fine)
- Brainteaser - angle between hour/minute hand at 3:15
(Answer is self-explanatory, just know that this is an interview question and don't be caught off guard.
