What is your assessment of the key drivers in the industry, what are the risks, what are the investment highlights, how would you value the business, what are some comparables and precedent transactions. Would you invest in this business? Other questions were pretty typical of a private equity interview, need to understand basic valuation metrics and why you would use one over the other (similar to IB interview questions).

Interview
I applied online through my campus OCR and was contacted by an HR person who schedule a time for me to come into the office for a super day style interview. I was interviewed by three people back to back, then the first guy came back for a round two. They asked me a few technical questions about (1) inverse relationship between bond prices and yields, (2) the diversification benefits of investing in uncorrelated assets, (3) and scenarios that can cause a company to become distressed. They also asked me what my long term career goals were, and what my interests were. A couple of the guys were intense but they were always polite.
