Only got through first round it seems (been ~2 weeks since phone interview) but the first round was mostly basic behavioral questions. Interviewer was friendly and we made some small talk early on. Explained the process, how compensation works, path from analyst to VP within the company.

Phone Interview
Interview
Phone interview after reusme drop, behavorial questions and a few typicla technicals. Had second call with Associate and then invited in for SD.
Interview Questions
None of the questions were exceedingly difficult, all the technicals were the typical ones that are asked during banking interivews. Tell me how to value a company, walk me through a discounted cash flow analysis, which valuation methodologies yield the highest premiums, walk me through WACC calculation, etc. No weird brain teasers or questions out of left field either, all pretty straight forward.

Unexpected question was more personal, asking details about recent school project I worked on, again not hard.

Interview
I applied online via Glassdoor as soon as the application dropped, I then quickly reached out to a couple different people on the team to network.

The interview process consisted of 3 interviews, one with an analyst, then an associate, then a director. The majority of questions were behavioral and asked about my experience listed on resume. Tested my understanding of what an investment banker does and there were a handful of very basic technicals (walk through dcf, what are 3 statements etc). Nothing out of what you would expect. For the most part very conversational and relaxed. I could tell they were looking for someone who knew what they were talking about, but would also be friendly and personable in the office.
Interview Questions
1. What does an Investment Banker do?

2. Walk me through a typical sell side process?

3. Walk me through a typical buyside process?

4. What are the main ways to value a company?

5. How would you value a company with negative earnings?

6. If I were creating a precedent transaction and capiq or pitchbook didn't have the data on the sale, what should I do to find the necessary info?

7. Tell me about a company you follow?

8. Asked various specific questions about bullet points on my resume so be ready to speak on those.

Interview Questions
They were pretty straightforward questions. Mostly valuation, some accounting, and fit questions.
I received the question: how do you value and apple tree?
What financial statement would be most useful for evaluating the financial position of a company?
What experiences in finance do you have? - This might have only been relevant for me since I had a sales and trading and private equity internship on my resume.
You should be able to prepare sufficiently by studying WSO guides. Not overly complicated. , They were pretty straightforward questions. Mostly valuation, some accounting, and fit questions.
