G.E. Capital outsources their recruitment. They should reconsider. I was called randomly one day by a mid-level manager at the company and he apologized for being "late for the phone interview". The recruiter had never asked for my availability, much less communicated a time to me. The interview lasted about half an hour. About three weeks later, I got a call rom the same mid-level manager offering me the job. Honestly, my recommendation is to proactively seek out the recruiter, but don't take silence as an indication you're not being considered. I was offered the job without ever having direct contact with the recruiter.
