Global Infrastructure Partners Overview

Overall Ranking (70%)

The Overall Ranking is a score from 1 star (very bad) to 5 stars (excellent) generated based on the Company Reviews of current and former employees at this company, taking everything into account.

The number you see in the middle of the donut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few reviews). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Company Details

GIP is an independent infrastructure fund manager that combines deep industry expertise with industrial best practice operational management. Our current equity fund, Global Infrastructure Partners III, makes equity investments in high quality infrastructure assets in the energy, transport and water/waste sectors where we possess deep experience and strong relationships.

GIP manages over $40 billion for its investors. Additionally, the companies in GIP's portfolio have combined annual revenues greater than $5 billion and employ approximately 21,000 people.

In addition to its equity investing focus, GIP has a credit arm, the Credit Solutions or "CAPS" Fund. GIP CAPS was formed to make non-equity investments, with the ability to transact across multiple entry points in the capital stack. GIP CAPS targets energy, transport, water and waste and other industries or projects with infrastructure-like characteristics. GIP CAPS provides custom tailored financing solutions across a breadth of capital needs, including greenfield and brownfield projects, acquisition finance, liquidity and growth, restructuring and secondary purchases.
