The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Was intro'd by a recruiter. First 2 rounds were with VPs and mostly focused on my work experience / 'why PE' as I'm coming from a consulting background. There were a few questions gauging my level of knowledge in PE deal process and how PE generates returns but were fairly straightforward. Afterwards I had 2 more technical rounds - 1 paper LBO with some tweaking of assumptions and some solving backwards into target IRR/MOICs which wasn't too bad. Then 1 excel-based case study that was more focused on modeling out an operating forecast for a company rather than building an LBO. Superday consisted of several back-to-back interviews that had consulting style case portions and behavioral portions.
Interview Questions
Found some of the live case portions difficult. Have to understand differences between nuanced KPIs (e.g., gross vs net retention rates) and be able to diagnose issues + come up with an investment thesis on a company very quickly.

Had a good interview process with GGC in their Industrials group. Met with several VPs and Principals and had a mix of case-type and fit/background conversations. Focused on deal experience, business insights and personality.

Interview
Contacted the firm through the recruiter. Scheduled a 1 on 1 face to face interview. The interview went well, and was mostly fit-based but had some case examples, "what would you do if..." scenarios. The interviewer was very nice, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. Gained insight into the PE industry as well as the firm. Did not receive offer though, so maybe my fit wasn't as great or my on the spot analysis was less than steller.
