Interview
I first did a phone interview with a member of HR. Afterwards I had two other one on one interviews and then a final super day consisting of a morning of 4 straight 30 min interviews and an excel test. The excel test just covered knowing basic/advanced formulas in excel, GMAT type questions, and an investment summary/case study.
Interview Questions
The most difficult and unexpected questions were the GMAT style questions on the excel test.

Interview
Had a call with an HR representative to discuss the position. They were mainly focused on my salary expectations. They had said they were going to follow up with an additional call, but I haven't heard back yet. I am assuming my salary expectations were higher than they were offering, which they shared.
Interview Questions
No difficult questions. More or less of my background and salary expectations.

Interview
Applied online and I personally reached out to the head of the office I was applying to. Shortly after I sent my email, I received a phone interview invitation. This interview was fairly casual and we talked about my interest in private equity and what I know about Hamilton Lane. After a week or so, I got an invite for an in-person interview at their office. From there, I met with about 5 or so individuals and talked about my interest in Hamilton Lane, private equity and what I am looking for in the role. After I met with everyone, I was given both an excel test and a prompt in which I was to submit a writing sample. Never heard from them again.
Interview Questions
Wasn't expecting a skills test but it wasn't too difficult. It consisted of about 15 or so tabs with a question dedicated to each tab but they emphasized that it isn't a requirement to finish. Forgot about how long I had but I want to say 30-45 minutes. Know advanced functions such as index matching, VBA, macros, etc.

I also wasn't expecting to submit a writing sample but it was pretty easy imo. It consisted of writing about your knowledge on Hamilton Lane and private equity. Probably want to see the strength of a candidate's writing.

Interview
A video interview, followed by an in-person super day. During the super day, you are interviewed by multiple employees.
Interview Questions
The most difficult part of the interview was the tests that had to be taken during the super day. The tests were a finance-related test, that testing your finance knowledge and an excel test. As far as questions go they were mostly FIT questions and were not super technical which made the process nice. I would say during the actual interviews the hardest questions were the semi-technical questions that some of the interviews would ask like recent events and finance related questions as well as buzz words.

Interview
1st round consists of video interview with two employees typically with one of them being in the group you are interviewing with. SuperDay is 2 days at there HQ in Bala Cynwyd, PA and involves a social gathering the night before, 1-on-1 interviews, excel tests, and a case study.
Interview Questions
Most difficult questions asked were the technicals. You must know how financial statements are connected and how to value a company. On top of that, they will ask you how you would approach researching a new investment. Other questions include high-level capital structure and financing questions such as when is it best for a company to use debt or equity. Overall, from my interview experience with the investment team at Hamilton Lane, there were no unnecessary questions that were meant to stump candidates.

Interview
Submitted online form, invited to one way interview, then superday 2 weeks later. One way interview had basic questions like what attracted me to the position, a time I've worked on a difficult project, experience with Excel and financial statements.
Interview Questions
The most difficult question was a difficult project I had worked on and what I did to complete the project thoroughly and efficiently. It was hard to think on the spot of a certain example and they only give 5 seconds between the end of the question and the start of the one minute allotted to answer so I had to think on my feet quickly. Another difficult question was what my experience in Excel and financial statements were. When asked to elaborate on that, it was a little unclear how in depth they wanted me to go our how technical. Overall the questions were not super specific and therefore difficult to answer precisely.
