Interview
Spoke to a friend at the firm about any open positions. Had screening calls with a couple people in the office, almost all technical questions but nothing too complex. They brought me in for in person interviews with the team, mostly just spoke about the work I've been doing in my current role.
Interview Questions
I was asked a number of different questions. The vast majority of the questions were about my deal experience, and they went pretty in depth into the specifics. Definitely expected me to know the model and the terms of the deal by the back of my hand. In the screening calls, they asked a lot of questions about DCFs and the terminal value calculations. Everything they asked about could be found in any number of guides out there, so nothing too complex on that front. Some of the interviewers were chill and some of them were very aggressive. Mixed vibes all around.
