The process consisted of one phone interview with two associate/analyst level employees who both worked in the same department. The interview was mostly behavioral asking about why real estate was interesting and why finance. The only "technical" was how to calculate cap rate.
Interview Questions
There weren't any difficult behaviorals, I think that if you really know about real estate you won't get a wildly hard technical either, but they did ask the cap rate formula

Interview
The hiring process was structured and straightforward. I applied via my university recruiting platform and was contacted shortly after for a phone interview with a few of the firm's analysts. The majority of questions were about my past experiences, and mainly revolved around my resume. There weren't any hypothetical behavorial questions, just questions on work I've done in internships and similar roles.

Note that Harrison Street has ramped up recruiting in recent years, and their recruitment process is more streamlined than many other RE firms. I'd recommend applying as soon as applications come out mid or early summer.
