Interview
My interview was a part of OCR (on campus recruiting) and I was interviewed by a second year analyst. He right away asked me to pitch him an undervalued company. Then he picked it apart for 10-15 minutes. Then a few standard accounting questions that were not too difficult; three statements, change in depreciation, etc. The last 15 minutes were all fit. Favorite comedian, sports cars, what I did in my free time.
Interview Questions
What are DTAs and DTLs? How can a company use them to their advantage? They are deferred tax assets/liabilities and arise when there is a difference between GAAP and IRS income. Companies can utilize their DTA reserve accounts to manage earnings.
