The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Hawk Ridge runs a pretty small team so your first round is with a senior analyst. The first round is majority technical with essentially no fit questions beyond "tell me about yourself." Second round is a take-home case study and the third round is a superday with senior level management at the firm.

Overall, I recruited as a sophomore but they expect pretty in-depth knowledge so preparation is pretty necessary beforehand
Interview Questions
Most difficult was if a firm moves a $100 SG&A expense to be a $100 depreciation expense instead, what is the change in EBITDA and FCF?

All other questions (eg. define market cap, define FCF) were pretty standard

Internship info was posted via a club listserv. Sent in my resume and cover letter, and received an invitation for phone interview a week later. After the phone interview, there is a case study. Following the case study, there is a superday.
Interview Questions
1. How would you explain enterprise value and market cap to someone with zero finance knowledge?
2. How do you get from market cap to EV?
3. How would you define FCF?
4. How to get from EBITDA to FCF?
5. There’s been a recent accounting change where operating leases have to be reflected on the balance sheet (i.e. capitalized). How will this affect EBITDA and FCF?
