Founded in 1989, Hourglass Capital is a SEC registered investment advisor in the U.S. under the Securities Act of 1940. Our firm is independently owned and serves both institutional and private clients in the U.S. and Latin America.

In 1996, Hourglass merged with Moffet Capital Management, combining firms with a similar commitment to client service and a fundamentally-based, value-oriented investment style. During 2008, Hourglass relocated from Dallas to Houston and added new principals Ken Moffet and Drew Anton. They joined the existing management team of John Moffet and Debra Gardner.

Today, Hourglass Capital manages individual accounts and partnerships, offering investment grade and non-investment grade fixed income, value and growth equity, as well as fixed income and equity focused Alternative Investment Strategies. Current assets under management exceed $600 million.
