Interview
I contacted the HR division at a local office in Chicago IL, however when they realized my home was in Minnesota they offered to have me apply there. However due to time constraints I couldn't do an in person interview. Thus I did a phone interview with 4 other people on the line who were all in a conference room together. The phone interview ended up being extremely awkward with the four interviewers talking over each other repeatedly and the call quality was terrible on their end. The questions were very standard, why are you interested in the program, are you available to start, and what your focus is in school. There were no questions about how I dealt with problems, character questions or anything that really let me expound on my experiences. There was probably only about 15 minutes of them asking questions then I asked questions. I would suggest have a decent number of questions to ask them as to paint yourself in a good light with your experiences because their interview did a poor job of really getting to know you. Also if you have the chance to do an in person interview instead of one over the phone, do it since the phone interview was poorly run and I believe it severely hurt my chances of receiving an offer.
