Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process was relatively low key. I had a phone interview that was very fact-based, but easy stuff to know if you do a bit of research. Who are ICAP's competitors? What is broking vs trading? etc. Then I was called in for an Assessment Center (their version of a Super Day) in which you take a math test, do a trading simulation, and do a little group project which you later present. The math test is not difficult and the trading simulation is definitely more to see how you adjust to something that's uncomfortable to you under pressure. For the project they give you a company profile and you comment on how you think it would/would not fit in with ICAP. Mostly to get a feel for your sales/presentation skills. Then a 2 on 1 (you being the 1) interview, largely fit based. Asked obvious questions like why ICAP, how do you deal with conflict, etc...
one thing to note is i heard they have changed campus recruitment heads so interviews might be different now.
