Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
It took 3 weeks from sending my application to getting an offer, so when they need someone, they can be very quick. So, be aware of this.

The interview process was in 3 stages:
- Stage 1: I was given a task by a Director in the Paris office to put together 2-3 slides on a given topic (no presentation). He told me on a Monday afternoon and I had until Friday mid-day, so about 3.5 days. Got feedback from him that Friday afternoon.
- Stage 2: I next had a 45-min interview with that same Director. Classic questions: behavioural, motivation, and 1 or 2 technical questions. The interview was in French. I got feedback the next day.
- Stage 3: I had two back to back 30-min interviews with another Director (my future boss) and an Executive Director (my future boss' boss). These were very short, extremely friendly, and all in all very easy. They both did most of the talking, asked a couple of questions around my technical skills, but they both sounded very positive. They asked how much help I had with my slides from the first interviewer, and I told them I just had the one line explaining the topic. So, clearly they liked what I had put together.

I got an offer 3 days later, which I accepted.
