Interview
Initially applied online through school's job board, but the company had an online application as well on GlassDoor. Received email from hiring manager (HR) two days later scheduling first round interview for that Friday. Had first round interview, heard back the following Monday and had a group interview scheduled for that following Friday again with two analysts. Heard back Saturday morning at 3am, notified that I was in the final round. Interview was scheduled for the Wednesday after that. Had the interview with a partner and an associate, received offer 2 days later on Friday.

Not many technicals, was grilled on my view of the market and also asked more in depth questions about companies I had pitched before.

Applied online, then invited to on-grounds interview. 30 min one on one interview describing my story and passions. No real technicals to speak of in terms of the interview.
Interview Questions
If you could choose one research project for the whole summer what would it be on? Justify your answer. Also wanted me to speak very specifically about how the firm benefits clients in terms of a clear value prop. Furthermore, asked general background stories as well as passions for the industry as a whole. Asked what long/short pitch I was most proud of in recent memory? From there it was typical questions regarding mistakes, strengths, weaknesses, etc. The research project was by far the biggest surprise in the interview.
