Interview Details

Please describe the interview / hiring process.
One of the most challenging hiring process I've ever seen. After sending resume/cover letter, I received an email inviting me to a first phone interview. I did 4 phone interviews. All of them are similar but difficulty is increasing as you go further in the process. The interviewers ask mathematical/statistical puzzles from the simples ones to questions that you cannot solve without a computer. They are moore interested in the way you solve these problems than if you get it right. They try put pressure on you by regularly asking for an immediate answer and give a confidence interval on this answer. The interviewers are very kind except one of the four who just didn't pay attention to what I was saying and was doing something else at the same time..
I was extremely surprised not to be invited for a on-site interview as the phone interviews went well. Basically, I Wonder whether they are really hiring people for full-time trader position directly. You have better try your chance with an internship and then try to convert it in a full time before leaving.
I did not appreciate to receive a basic email of 4 lines to thank me and tell me they don't have a job for me and without any explaination on what went wrong. ("the process can left some questions unanswered")
