Trading Desk Operation

Applied for the position through handshake. Hear back from the company with a excel test to solve 3 questions. After that, had a phone interview, was asked about few probability and brainteaser questions. Then, was asked to complete a VBA coding task. Finally, was invited to come to their NYC office for onsite interview. Jane street's environment is quite nice. The office structure is flat and people from different departments can easily have conversation with each other so as to facilitate the efficient communication across the company. The interviewees are really nice. When they proposed difficult questions and I kind of have little clue, they wouldn't tell the answer directly but would try to guide me to the right direction. Just be prepare for questions not in you knowledge, but should try to deal with this situation calmly. Act smart, react quickly.
