I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone call roughly a month in the future. I had two rounds before I was cut; the first was a phone call that consisted of a general probability question and some variations of the original question. The second round was more game-like; I was asked to find the best strategy for the game, as well as more variations on the game. It was overall fairly challenging and since I didn't give the optimal strategy in the second round (although mine was almost close to optimal), I was cut.
