Please describe the interview / hiring process.
It took about a week after submitting my application before they got back to me. In my first interview, it was basic probability questions related to dice and coins - the kind of questions you would expect in a high school probability class, but with less time. I got an email the next day, saying I was invited to the next round. The second round consisted of 2 questions of significantly higher difficulty. They want to see your thinking, not just the right answer. (I didn't get the right answer to the second question). The third round was about making bets. You would bet on the results of dice rolls or coin flips and the interviewer would actually roll the dies and/or flip the coins. In this case, they want to see your intuition for probabilities. You don't get enough time to actually calculate the values. I was told that the interview process is typically 3/4 phone interviews and then an onsite round.
