The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Started with a phone interview, with the human resources hiring director. She was very nice and the interview consisted exclusively of fit questions. The next step was a skype interview where interivewed with 3 different people, the associate, princiapl and a consultant. Again was mostly fit questions. Interviews went well. They ended up taking someone with previous experience, but said would keep resume on file if other positions opened up. Overall, good experience other than not receiving an offer.
Interview Questions
There wasn't any real unexpected questions. Just be yourself and energetic, and you'll do fine. Just asked why slocum, why investment consulting, what experience do you have, et.c

Interview
Very hard to get an interview without an employee referral, and received mine through a local CFA Society member. The phone interview was very straightforward and made up of mostly fit questions, while the following (final) interview at Slocum was a series of three back-to-back in-person interviews with Senior Consultants and the CIO - again, fairly straightforward and mostly fit questions, with a few technicals mixed in.
Interview Questions
Explain something that you learned in your previous role that can directly add value to your client teams should we decide to hire you?

This question was difficult to spin as I was making the move from commodity trading to institutional portfolio consulting. My spin was that I understand the decision-making process of the underlying managers in the portfolios and can add value through talking points in client calls and team meetings.

Skills Test
Interview
I was internal already at Slocum as a client service analyst ("Investment Analyst") and saw an opening in a position on the research desk, which was expanding. They tested my manager research skills with an example (which was a manager they obviously knew very well) and talked about organizational skills, assessment on whether I was a team player, and whether I had any thoughtful perspectives on markets.
Interview Questions
Tell me whether we should hire this manager? This was referring to the example case study of a manager they knew well - it was unclear whether they liked or hated that manager. I recommended that we keep the manager based on a short profile Slocum had written and my understanding of strategies and managers from my work on the client service side, where I had to review managers on a quarterly basis.
What questions would you ask this manager? I didn't have a great response to this one...I wasn't sure which areas were more mundane or were standout features of the fund, but I went with "how much bigger could they get in terms of size of asset base?" This was fair because they were focused on a small opportunity set.
