Investor at JPM Private Bank (Global Families Group)

Set up phone interview to start where we discussed the position and my interest in the position. Explained why I was attracted to JPM Private bank over other firms with similar LOB's like Goldman and Citi. The conversation was friendly in general and felt more like a fit meeting as no technicals were asked. I was then asked to schedule an in person meeting after with two senior investors on the team after. The second interview was rescheduled from in person to virtual after the COVID outbreak and was generally more technical. I was asked for my personal take on current market developments and was asked to imagine both of the interviewers as clients and If i could pitch them 2 individual stocks that I would invest in now and explain why including my financial reasoning with not other parameters (I assumed that the constraints would be limited to the average JPM PB client who would have AUM with the firm of $5 - $25MM). After that we discussed my recommended stock picks and I asked follow up questions about their roles and how I would be expected to integrate myself with the team as well picked their brains about theirs views on investment selection. The interview went for a little bit over an hour and after which I was told that they would get back to me. It took about two weeks for me to get a reply back.
