Met with the head of the group for approximately an hour. The first 40 min. they provided a detailed overview of the firm and the role and the remainder was spent describing my work experience and how it related to the role. The firm places a premium on writing and was expressed and reiterated many times throughout the interview. The firm's founder, a former author, is firm on the fund's power to express their views on companies worthy of shorting. The second part was a little rushed, as the interviewer was short on time, however enough time was given to provide background on my current position and why I am looking elsewhere.
