Equity Research Summer Intern

My resume was sent by an MD at KeyBanc who told me there was an internship position. I was emailed with contact information and interviewed within a week.

I was interviewed by three separate people at Keybanc: one Associate, one Analyst, and the head of equity research personnel. There were technical questions that were on the easier end, mostly basic accounting. There were also standard interview questions (Walk me through your resume, why equity research, why KeyBanc) and some fit questions. The whole process took maybe an hour and a half. Nobody grilled me or made me feel uncomfortable and everyone was friendly and polite.
