Fairly casual, multiple phone calls over the course of a month. Nothing crazy, pretty easy. Spoke with people throughout the company.
Interview Questions
The interview overall wasn't very hard, it was mainly questions about my experience and interests, trying to gauge why I wanted to be there. The one question that caught me off guard was in-depth questioning about a research paper I had written. The interviewer went really in depth with his questioning, asking specifics about how I did my research, the software I used, any codes I used. I had written the paper almost a full year prior and was just not expecting that line of questioning. Wasn't hard.
