Interview
Started with a basic modeling test with 3 statement LBO, accounting questions mostly on how changes flow through 3 statements, case study with some basic market sizing math
Interview Questions
The most difficult one was what created DTL and the journal entries for DTL. Other technicals were basic, including capital structure, basic LBO return math (if targeting 3x return, how much EBITDA growth is needed). Case study was hard because it was very open ended, and the interviewer didn't give much guidance to help you stay on the right track. Market sizing questions in the case study had easy numbers but unit conversion was a little confusing. Fit interview is mostly expected, but was asked to talk about a company that I think is interesting.
