Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The process began with a phone screen with HR then I had an interview with an Associate from the group.
The interview itself was pretty fair. We started with the basics including my resume, my interests, and career goals. Then we got into the technicals. The interviewer asked a simple question on the difference between bank loans and debt securities. I answered the question correctly but for some reason the intrerviewer was under the impression that I did not understand what I was saying. He proceeded to grill me then tried to end the interview only 15 minutes into it. I recovered and he stayed on the phone for 45 minutes but I never heard back.
