Lazard - Investment Banking Analyst

* Initial online application form, which was relatively straightforward
* Followed by online numerical, verbal and situational judgement tests
* Next step was a 20 minute phone interview with basic competency questions (why IB, why Lazard, tell me about a recent Lazard deal etc.)
* Assessment centre in the London office was the next stage. This involved resitting the online numerical test, carrying out a group exercise, carrying out two short individual analysis tasks, and a lunch with 3 current analysts
* Final round was 3 2-on-1 interviews with MDs / Ds. Some straightforward background / fit questions, but some that were deliberately designed to put you off your game
