I got a call from the principal at the firm after he had checked out my LinkedIn profile. Invited me to come down to Calgary for a presentation style interview based on all my past projects. I wasn't paid any travel costs despite having to travel 3 hours by car. The interview itself wasn't too hard. Just prepare for your basic level behavioral questions, and have a solid grasp of your past projects. 3 weeks after the interview, I was asked for references, and given a job offer.
