Legal & Compliance Analyst

I initially responded to a blind job advertisement from their recruiter, MLA. I submitted my resume with no cover letter. The recruiter called the next day and we went over my experience and salary expectations. A week or so later I spoke with LL’s hiring manager/ the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer. Very general questions, mostly her explaining her wants for the role. A week or so later, I was asked to interview in person at the recruiter’s office. Was given a skills test and talked with the DCCO again. A week later I did a phone interview with the General Counsel. Average questions about my experience. A week later I was told by the recruiter that I got the job and was sent the offer letter. After asking whether negotiating more days off is possible, I was told no. I signed the offer letter and sent it back through the recruiter. The very next day, the recruiter emailed me to say the offer was pulled. Never heard from the recruiter or company again.
